Everglades National Park in florida

Everglades National Park is a 3rd Largest national park of USA after Yellowstone and Death Valley. It usually drives one million tourists each year. Everglades National Park is located in Florida which protects 20 % original Everglades of southern. If we talk about united states then this is the largest tropical wilderness of east of Mississippi River. It is declared as a Wetland of International Importance,an International Biosphere Reserve and a World Heritage Site. It is on of only these three places that are listed in above all three lists.

There are three main entry points to go in Everglades National Park which are listed below.
  • the Tamiami Trail which is also known as the Shark Valley area that can be accessed by US 41
  • the park’s main headquarters which is also known as the Ernest F. Coe Visitor Center.
  • the Gulf Coast Visitor Center, which is nearest to south of Everglades city and Naples. 
Everglades Florida are home of wildlife animals which covered 5 different habitats. Mangrove, Sawgrass, Hammock, Pineland and Slough are the 5 habitats where animals live. The Florida panther, tree frogs, the American crocodile, alligators, Key deer, otters an manatee are the notable Everglades animals. Watching bird is also a popular activity of Everglades National Park.

Weather of Florida Everglades 

There are 2 seasons at Everglades. one is dry and other is wet. December to April is a dry season. In this season temperature remains 55°F to 75°F. During this time most of the tourists like to visit Everglades National Park. In this season water level is down and animals can be seen at central water locations. on the other season of May to November temperature exceeds up to 90°F and it rains most of the time.
